Conor Boyle MRIAI

Conor Boyle MRIAI, Architect is the founder of CBDS. Conor is a Sligo native who now lives in Dublin. Conor graduated from Technical University Dublin in 2013 with a degree in Architecture. During his studies, Conor developed keen interest in rural Architecture and how a contemporary structure fits within the Irish traditional landscape. This informed his final year study culminating in a thesis study exploring how a new modern building can exist and maintain a sensitive symbiotic relationship with the rural Irish landscape.

Conor moved to London, UK in 2014 due to the economic downturn in Ireland. In London, Conor took up a role with Peter Thomas de Cruz Architects based in Chiswick. This practice specialised in the ultra-modern design & construction of houses, apartments and villas with a large bulk of their work based abroad. They also specialised in competition design with forward thinking living ideas and use of materials. While with the practice Conor further developed his architectural style and creativity. He completed his Part 3 professional exams while at the practice graduating from Kingston University in 2017. Conor maintains a close relationship with the practice, and they have become a key business contact collaborating on projects in recent years.

Conor moved home in 2017 to open CBDS. His trademark contemporary style has established him at the forefront of Architectural design in Dublin. He has an extensive knowledge of materials and technical detailing which results in exquisite finishes, creating spaces adored by his clients. This coupled with a very hands on and client orientated approach makes him unique amongst competitors. His collaborative approach, coupled with an established network of design professionals both in Ireland and the UK makes no project too big or small.

In more recient times, Conor has been focusing on both Architectural Design and Project Delivery through working with select sub contractors and has divirsified into more urban and sub urban settings.
